Lampton U18's out of the National Schools Competition

Lampton U18’s go out of the national schools competition at the quarter final stage, going down by ten points to a very strong Harris Academy from Lewisham. Harris’ physicality and speed proved to be the difference as they continued to dominate the rebounds. With two England internationals to boast, Harris proved more than a handful, however Lampton were the first out the blocks and delivered the first blow by going up 12-1 in the opening minutes.

A tight game all the way down to the final minutes is a huge credit to the Lampton boys. With the game evenly balance with only minutes to go, Lampton had every chance to win the game. On this occasion it wasn’t meant to be. A lot of credit and respect must go to the boys for their hard work and commitment for the whole season. 7.00 a.m. practice sessions followed by daily workouts have taken the boys to a new level in their lives both on and off the court.
