National Basketball U15 Final Four

Lampton U15 Boys Basketball Team made School history finishing 3rd in the Country in what can only be described as an electrifying game. To say I am proud of the boys would be an understatement. The desire, the fight and the will to win the 3rd place playoff, was something truly special.

Yahya Muhieddine, Jonah Ting, JJ Grewal, Elmi Elmi, Curtis Bowry, Nic Molina-Scott, Shirzad Yousafi, Steven Potyrala, Jimmy Singh, Amar Dhani, Zine Kennouche, Sunny Singh, Mo Aljundi, Rajan Mahoon, Abdi Said and Vaughn Villiver should all be so proud of what they achieved for both themselves and the School. With 14 of these 16 boys young enough to play U15 again next year, the future looks very bright.

Going into the National Finals, nobody in the basketball circle outside London knew who Lampton was. Thanks to our support – from teachers and pupils – and of course the performance of the players, Lampton School is now recognised up and down the Country and has set the bar extremely high for every other school in so many ways.

Once again thanks for the support to all especially Rob, Thomas who gave up their time to come up and stay the night with us and Annie and Lucy for organising everything.

Amazing!!!! these boys have trained for months and months under the supervision of their amazing bball coach Mr.Keane, without his guidance and their determination and passion for the game, and no doubt the hunger to win it would not have been possible…..So hats off to you all… Fantastic kids good luck…..
