Full-time and permanent vacancies at the school are also externally advertised in the following ways:-
Teaching vacancies – advertised in the TES, on Hounslow’s website or on eteach. Information about teaching vacancies, application forms, job specifications etc. can be downloaded from the website. Very occasionally, the local Job Centre will be used for Associate Staff positions.
Please click on this link to go to the TES website
Support staff i.e. admin staff, Teaching Assistants, Cover Supervisors etc. Information about these vacancies are advertised on the school website, on the Hounslow website and on occasion in the local press i.e. The Hounslow and Brentford Times, the Richmond and Twickenham Times or the Hounslow Chronicle. Once again, information about vacancies, application forms, job specifications can be downloaded from the website.
‘Voluntary’ i.e. unpaid work placements requested by people wishing to build experience of working in a school in order to be able to apply for jobs in education are sometimes agreed. However, the school does receive many such applications and therefore limits the number and duration of such opportunities. Please note that only those people with existing enhanced DBS disclosure will be considered.
If you are interested in classroom experience for GTP or PGCE applications please refer to the section of this website dealing with the Training School. We particularly recommend the School Experience Programme for people wanting a taste of teaching.
Queries about vacancies should be addressed to Dee Cresswell at Lampton School on firstname.lastname@example.org
