Support for Parents of Teenagers

You attended pre and post-natal baby classes. You attended parent toddler groups. You talked to other parents at the school gates when your children were in Primary School. Yet, when parenting gets tough as your children hit their teens, where to you go to for support and advice?

Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme) is an eight week course giving parents the opportunity to discuss the delights and difficulties of raising teenagers. The course teaches practical parenting strategies which will increase the confidence and competence of parents to deal positively with their teenage children; throughout the programme there will be 5 group session and 3 personalised telephone consultations.

Courses will begin after the Easter holidays on Tuesday 24th April. Weeks 1 – 4 will be held in school from 5.30 – 7.30 p.m., weeks 5 – 7 are 1:1 telephone sessions, week 8 is an opportunity for the class to come back together and reflect on changes/improvements etc.

This is a really exciting opportunity for Lampton parents and a vital area of work that the school hopes to develop further. These classes are offered free to all parents/guardians. Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you would like to enrol or find out more information, please telephone Susie Worthington on 020 8538 1808 or email
