Extra Curricular, Trips & Activities

The school is committed to offering a range of extra-curricular activities, trips and visits to both supplement the taught curriculum and to go beyond it - offering a range of experiences that that help to develop character as well as intellect.

At Lampton, we believe that education goes far beyond the confines of the classroom. Our wider opportunities are every bit as important in contributing to, and shaping learning through teamwork, leadership and varied experiences. And they also provide great fun!

The range and quality of these opportunities is immense; in particular the school believes that educational trips and visits are essential to good learning. There are usually over 100 trips per year catering for every age group and activity.

To give a taste of what we do, the huge range of trips varies from the History field trip to the World War 1 battlefields , to the Geography trip to Slapton, to Modern Language visits and exchanges to Germany, Physics visit to CERN, Duke of Edinburgh adventures in Dorset, as well as numerous day visits, tours, and sports or activity-based trips. These all form part of the rich educational experience on offer at Lampton to enrich's students' social and cultural capital.

We also run a range of extra-curricular activities in school before, during and after school. Please download the file below for this term's extra-curricular timetable.
